Session 5: Social Emotional Learning for Early Childhood Settings

Social-emotional learning is the foundation for communication, self-regulation, relationships, and positive behavior in early childhood classrooms. This interactive workshop explores how SEL skills develop, how to identify the skills children need most, and how to embed meaningful instruction throughout daily routines. Participants will learn practical, evidence-based strategies to support skill development, reduce challenging behavior, and create individualized plans that promote participation, independence, and success for all learners.
