The Early Autism Implementation Cohort is a structured, 2-week professional development for Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) providers, child care providers, and preschool teachers. This training supports 4 cohorts of up to 25 participants, equipping educators with skills to implement and sustain evidence-based practices for children with autism or developmental delays.
Comprehensive program with potential to earn the STAR Early Childhood Certification
Training will be provided on the the STAR Program, a comprehensive curriculum for children with Autism.
Attendees will earn a certificate of attendance for 16 hours plus optional live STAR trainer support sessions.
To become eligible for certification, participants must complete comprehensive training and demonstrate proficiency in key instructional and coaching competencies. The certification process includes both structured learning and hands-on implementation with ongoing support.
Attend the Foundations for Early Autism Intervention workshop and/or the Early Childhood Autism Learning Modules.
Attend additional virtual workshops as part of this cohort.
Submit video demonstrations showing competency in key instructional and coaching skills for evaluation by trainers.
Parent Permission Required
Participants will need to obtain video permission from at least 2 parents for video submissions.
Complete the Fidelity of Implementation Checklist assessment conducted by a certified STAR Trainer to ensure quality implementation.
