This workshop is designed for preschool, elementary, and middle school educators interested in implementing evidence-based instructional strategies. Teachers, paraprofessionals, related service staff, and administrators will find the information relevant to the needs of their students and practical to implement in a public school setting.
This two-day workshop will teach you to use evidence-based ABA strategies focusing exclusively on the STAR Curriculum and will not include information on other similar or related projects.
At the completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Continuing Education Units (CEUs):
STAR Autism Support is approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) to grant Continuing Education Credits when the presenter holds a BCBA. A total of 10 CEUs will be granted to BCBA professionals for attending the STAR Workshop.
This course is offered for 1.10 ASHA CEUs (intermediate level, Professional area). To receive ASHA CEUs, you must submit your ASHA number at the time of registration and complete the full 2 days of the workshop. Attendance will be taken both days of the workshop.
The presentation will focus exclusivley on the STAR Curriculum and will not include information on other similar or related programs.
