Inclusive Autism Programs: A Deep Dive Into Strategies, Resources & Implementation

*Paraprofessionals and General Educators Highly Encouraged!*

In this half-day workshop, participants will gain an understanding of strategies and practices to support students with autism and other developmental disabilities in inclusive learning environments across the grade span. Attendees will learn about common terms related to inclusion, and a variety of inclusion models will be discussed. We will share research on inclusion as well as evidence-based practices to support inclusion success for each unique student. This training highlights the importance of a collaborative, team-based approach so that students are provided with consistent instruction and support across learning environments. Participants will be provided with resources and tools to support inclusion for all students while continuing to focus on individual student progress through assessment and data collection. Join us to identify the skills that support student participation in natural environments and general education settings, how to implement ABA strategies in an inclusive environment, and next steps for immediate implementation.

NOTE: This session provides an overview of evidence-based practices for students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
