Fitting It All In: Classroom & Student Schedules That Work – Released October 27
One of the hardest jobs of today’s special education teacher is finding time to teach across multiple curriculum areas. This webinar will provide teachers with ideas on how to embed multiple curriculum areas across the school day for middle and high school students with ASD. Examples of classroom and individual student schedules, visual supports, and teaching strategies that can assist teachers with this process will be provided.
Assessment & Interventions for Challenging Behaviors – Released December 8
Participants will learn how to use basic behavior principles to assess student’s challenging behaviors, identify appropriate interventions that match assessment results, and determine whether an intervention is working.
Connecting Links Lessons and Routines to Student IEP’s and Monitoring Student Progress – Released March 16
Teachers will be provided with examples of IEP goals for Links lessons and routines and how to graph student progress.
Strategies to Increase Your Student’s Success in General Education Settings – Coming April
This webinar will discuss the challenges students with ASD experience in general education settings and strategies that teachers can use to increase their student’s success. Examples of student checklists and organizational systems will be provided.
Connecting Links Lessons and Routines to Support Students During Puberty and Beyond – Coming May
This webinar will provide teachers with information on how to use Links Lessons and Routines to support students as they experience the challenges and changes during puberty. This webinar will enhance educator understanding of what sexuality education content is important to teach and how to teach such content. Examples of easy to use, accessible curricula and materials will be shared.
