Primary Unit Updates: Fall 2022

We have made changes to our Themes First! and SOLS Primary units. These updates are intended to provide all materials needed for instruction within one place on the Media Center. Read below for more information!

✔ Updates for Remote Learning Users

Three things to keep in mind as you head back to school this fall:

⚬ Strand D has been incorporated into the group activities bucket in Themes First! You can now access Strand D activities here.
⚬ Caregiver and assessment is now a sub-level
⚬ Teaching Time has become two categories:

⚬ Full digital REELs are now available as "rotating content" under primary. Look for this icon to take you to the REELs:
⚬ You can find the digital versions of theme units within each bucket in Themes First! Easily access the important
⚬ Social Studies content is now available. We have a brand-new bucket with newly developed content of the classroom. Get started with our foundational lessons, then build upon learned content through the rotating content lessons that are updated each month. Find the Back to School Social Studies bucket here!

⚬ New Social Studies bucket.
⚬ Foundational lessons within Science and Social Studies buckets. Our Social Studies and Science buckets have a new look! Each subject has a set of Foundational Lessons intended to introduce and build students skills relating to the subject. With each new unit released, a new set of Rotating Content Lessons will be available. Each rotating content lesson will build upon the skills learned in the Foundation Lessons.
