STAR Autism Support is a Pre-Qualified Vendor!
STAR provides comprehensive training for school staff on behavioral systems and interventions within a multi-tiered system of support. This training emphasizes evidence-based practices, particularly applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques, to equip educators with effective behavioral strategies for students with autism and students with other developmental disabilities. In-class coaching is provided to assist educators in the practical application of these strategies, ensuring they are implemented with fidelity. Tools such as fidelity checklists are available to maintain consistency and accuracy in implementing interventions.
Arkansas school districts are approved for eligible funding under DESE Professional Learning Grants!
Along with the training STAR Autism Support can also provide extensive research-based curriculum to address these student needs. Previous work with Arkansas School Districts has resulted in significant improvements in student outcomes, demonstrating the effectiveness of these training initiatives. By enhancing the capacity of school staff to support students' behavioral and mental health needs, STAR Autism Support fosters a positive educational environment through a structured, multi-tiered approach.
