Transitioning to Remote Learning

Transitioning from In-Person
to Remote Learning

Worried about transitioning to remote learning? Not sure how to prepare or what to do next?
Use and share the tools below to make remote learning a success!

✔ CREATE AN ACTION PLAN

An action plan is a great place to start when preparing for remote learning. It allows you to prepare for what your remote learning instruction, schedule, technology, and educational team will look like.

✔ PREPARE CAREGIVERS

Communication between caregivers and teachers is key to understanding expectations, availability, and accessibility with remote learning. While our Home Resources are tailored for SOLS users, the language in the SOLS Caregiver Introduction Training flyer is a great starting point to help caregivers prepare to make the home learning experience a success.

✔ PROVIDE INDEPENDENT WORK AND AT-HOME ACTIVITIES

Independent work and at-home activities are great asynchronous materials to use to supplement students' learning and to prevent regression over breaks.

✔ USE VISUAL SUPPORTS

Support families and caregivers with children who have autism or a developmental disability in their home learning and routines.

✔ CONTACT US
